The Athletes

Five named in the World Cup squad as GB Snowsport confirms its 2026/27 Alpine selections — the strongest and deepest British Alpine team ever assembled.

2026 Milan-Cortina Olympians Billy Major and Laurie Taylor are joined in the Alpine World Cup squad by Reece Bell, Victoria Palla, and first-time World Cup squad member Freddy Carrick-Smith following his breakthrough on the World Cup circuit last season.

A 36-athlete team spans the World Cup, Europa Cup, and FIS Development squads — a combination of deep experience on the World Cup stage and rich potential in a new era for British Alpine skiing. Focus is already turning toward the 2027 Alpine World Championships in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
